EHDEN COVID-19 RAPID COLLABORATION CALL
EHDEN addresses the need for a coordinated heathcare database to better manage the COVID-19 crisis.

Given the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, institutions, governments and citizens worldwide want to know more about what symptoms patients are presenting with and which methods of care are proving to be beneficial.
The data available from all over the world is fragmented and requires some curation in order to be useful. As such, the European Health Data and Evidence Network are encouraging the use of a single data management system.
This call is in response to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and is being done as EHDEN believes having a harmonised common data model that links Data Partners together with researchers for quicker open-source science on the COVID-19 virus will help find solutions to combat the pandemic.
