During what is – let’s be honest – the sh*ttiest weather season of the year, Slush brings together the leading actors of the global tech scene to Helsinki for something very special. Described by many as “Burning Man meets TED”, the event has grown in just a few short years to 17,500 attendees and 1 million live stream viewers.
In 2016, over 2,300 startups, 1,100 venture capitalists, and 600 journalists from over 120 countries came to Slush to drive business, and to experience the phenomenal atmosphere.
Startup Europe is heading north for Slush!
Startup Europe is travelling to Helsinki, Finland to attend Slush: Europe’s leading startup event with over 15,000 attendees.

ESN delegation at Slush
ESN (European Startup Network) will also be at Slush, with their ‘European Champion Startup’ delegation. This delegation will be made up of a delegation of European startups selected by ESN to attend Slush.
The delegation will have a space of 32sqm on both days of the event, dedicated only to the European Startup Network delegation.
Karen Boers, CEO and Co-Founder of the ESN, states, “Speed to the market is often one of the key success elements in startup growth”. “Through the ‘European Champion Startup’ delegation at a leading tech conference like Slush, we wish to accelerate the visibility and market access of high-potential scaleups.”
The delegation will be at Slush from 10:00-18:00 on 30 Nov- 1 Dec, at Exhibition and Convention Center of Helsinki.
